The EBA Posture Shirt Is a Valuable Tool in Fighting the Bad Posture Epidemic

Posted Aug 22 2011 10:11am
Ever since high school, I’ve had really poor posture. My parents had me tested for scoliosis (curvature of the spine), but that wasn’t the problem (thankfully). I’m just a sloucher! So, when I was contacted about the EBA Posture Shirt , I was anxious to try it. Experts say that children’s posture is getting worse thanks to hauling around heavy book bags and bending over computer keyboards and gaming systems. Having poor posture not only affects the way you look, but it can also impact your breathing and overall health. Sitting or standing up straight just feels good because you’re breathing well and everything is in alignment. So, how can we teach kids (and adults like me) to straighten up?

The EBA Posture Shirt is a valuable tool. Made for kids and adults, you can actually feel the shirt pulling you into proper alignment! I received a shirt to try. You can see in the shots below what it looks like in the front and back. You can wear it alone or under other clothes. (My only suggestion for improvement is that they take the words “posture shirt” off the logo on the back so people don’t know I’m wearing a posture shirt!) When I put it on, I can really feel how it pulls my shoulders back and into alignment. And I love that the shirt is designed to train the body to align itself, so when you’re not wearing it, the body will still know how to help you stand tall!

Here’s a shot of an EBA Posture Shirt for kids. It’s actually cute!

It’s not only stylish, but it’s reminding your child to sit and stand tall (so you don’t have to nag him or her). If you’re concerned about your family’s posture, visit www.alignmed.com and learn more about the EBA Posture Shirt. They have shirts for men, women and children in several different colors and styles. Of course, I can’t guarantee that you or your kids will soon be walking around like models, but if your doctor has ruled out any medical causes for poor posture, this product is definitely worth a try. The more I wear my shirt, the better I feel.
