While the course will help parents identify nine different temperaments and teach them skills to manage them, there is always need to point out real life discussions and articles that focus on this same topic.
According to a study conducted at the University of Chicago, the temperament of an infant can predict future behavior (and behavior problems). The findings of this study, published in the Journal of Abnormal Psychology, claim "that interventions focusing on parentingduring the first year of life would be beneficial in preventing future child conduct problems."
