Tandem Skydiving

#7 Skydiving...

Day to day, I lead a fairly normal & a fairly boring life. But sometimes, I just crave and need some excitement. An occasional daredevil stunt or two to invigorate and rejuvenate the soul... yeah, it works for me.

I've been known to get a bee in my bonnet. And sometimes it is a fairly large-sized bee. And this bee causes me to do strange, impulsive & fun things. About two years ago, I got a pretty big bee in my bonnet when I turned 35 years old. A mid-life crisis of sorts. I was feeling old, bored & restless. And I had an unfinished Bucket List.

You see, my husband, Paratrooper Man, and our son, Young Sarge, are paratroopers in the Army. And I had enviously watched Paratrooper Man make military parachute jumps for years. Then, Young Sarge became a paratrooper too. And that... that was just too much for me. I was going to have to try this skydiving thing for myself. With the help of an expert tandem skydiver, of course.

Thanks to Sky's The Limit in Bee ville, Texas for helping me get that bee outta my bonnet!

Stay tuned for more Bucket List items over the next few weeks.
