Scotch-Brite Dirty Little Secrets *GIVEAWAY*

Posted Nov 03 2010 8:02am

I love Scotch-Brite products - we have been using the sponges,  heavy duty scour pads and no-scratch scrub sponges for as long as I can remember! I was recently contacted and asked to try out some Scotch-Brite products and was happy to do so.

The package that arrived in the mail was fabulous! It was filled with the products I already know and love- like the scrub sponges- plus it had new products that I hadn't tried out yet like the Disposable Toilet Scrubber. Scotch-Brite even went pink as proud supporters of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

I am sure most of you have tried Scotch-Brite products in the past... and I'm sure a lot of you use them regularly just like me! But let me tell you a little bit about why I love these products.

The scrub sponges are a staple in our house. We always have some in the kitchen and in the bathroom. I use the no-scratch scrub sponge to clean pots and pans and all the other dishes too. I love that I KNOW it won't scratch the finish. I also love that it really does the job well. And when things are just too stuck on I just pull out the scour pad and voila! Done!

In my bathroom I've used the sponges to clean my shower and sink. They are just so handy.

I had forgotten about the fabulous Heavy Duty Dishwand... we had one a few years ago and I can't believe I haven't been using one all along! It is fabulous for washing dishes. It is so convenient - you just fill the handle with dishsoap and scrub away all that disgusting cooked-on food! Brilliant. It also makes the sink clean and shiny after the dishes are all done :).

I had not tried the Toilet Scrubber before and it sort of amazes me that I haven't.  I hate cleaning the toilet. I have sons and I just hate sticking my hands into the icky cesspool of urine-y ick! With the Scotch-Brite toilet scrubber I was able to clean the toilet inside without getting my hands contaminated even once! Brilliant.

I am beginning to sound like one of those late-night info-mercials but seriously... I really do love Scotch-Brite products.

Scotch-Brite is currently running the Dirty Little Secrets campaign where Canadians can submit their dirty little home cleaning secrets and tips. There are a ton of secrets and reading through them made me feel a lot better about my homemaking skills- it is always nice to know you aren't the only one who has swept crumbs under the fridge when you are in a hurry!

Thanks to the fabulous folks at Scotch-Brite I have TWO prize packs (pictured above) to giveaway to two of my fabulous Canadian readers.
