Being environmentally friendly is always so much better when jewelry is involved. It makes you feel so much better about what you wear! Resurrection Silver is a jewelry shop that revives silver and turns it into gorgeous jewelry pieces. Forks and spoons are revived, cut, and shaped into beautiful slide and pendants for necklaces. But there’s even more… Elizabeth, designer of Resurrection Silver, also uses new sterling silver wire to make pretty pendants like the New Life Butterfly , which is my favorite thing in the shop! My second fave is the Tic-Tac-Toe necklace … it reminded me of times before midterms and paying tuition. The fork and spoon pendants amaze me; I didn’t know you could do so much with a spoon or a fork! Elizabeth use the handles as well as the main utensil part. So crafty!
Elizabeth allowed me to see her Three’s Company necklace in person. She also told me about how her daughter looks at the three different sized circles on the necklace and says, “That’s Daddy, that’s Mommy, and that’s Gracie!” going in order from largest to smallest. I thought that was the most adorable story! I like how the three sizes don’t go in ascending order… it’s a nice twist on the three-ring necklace we often see. The necklace hangs beautifully on a fine sterling silver chain and it’s so light and easy to wear. Oh, and just to further prove Elizabeth’s awesomeness – she created and hammered the circle herself. Wow! And they’re still flawless! I find it astonishing that she crafts almost every sterling silver pendant in her shop solely by hand. That takes some talent right there. Handmade, recycled jewelry has never looked so good; I know you’ll find something you’ll love, just like I did, at Resurrection Silver !
