Quick Tip of the Week: Putting on their Own Jacket

Okay, maybe I'm just a moron for not knowing this, but back when my daughter was in daycare, they learned how to put on their own jackets.
The woman running the daycare would lay the jacket down in front of the child with the right side facing down and the hood pointed at their feet. Then the kids would reach down and put their hands in the arm holes, lift their arms up and the jacket would flip over their head and voila!
Again, I'm sure everyone knew this but me, but if you didn't it's much easier for little kids to do it this way than the regular adult way.
Also, let me say that if your child is standing, they can learn how to do this. Some parents tend to do everything for their kids because it's faster. But the more, and more importantly the earlier, you start teaching them to do things for themselves the easier it'll be for you.
