At Girl Guides a couple weeks ago, one of the mums had made sundried tomato pesto and cheese pinwheels and vegemite and cheese pinwheels. They were scrumptious! Definitely needed to be added to my list of things to make for morning/afternoon teas.
The ones I made yesterday weren’t photo-worthy (although they didn’t taste too bad) but the ones I made today turned out heaps better!
All I did was chopped up sundried tomatoes and spread them on a sheet of puff pastry. Then added some grated cheese on top. I rolled up the sheet and then cut it into approx 1.5cm wide pieces.
For the vegemite pinwheels, I obviously replaced the sundried tomatoes with the vegemite.
I placed them on a baking sheet sprayed with Canola spray and put them in a pre-heated oven at 180 degrees C for about 15 minutes.
