My feet are still seething at me from our trip to Disneyland. I wore my crocs the entire time and that did help, but when you go to Disneyland with Eric, you have to be prepared for some serious trekking. Eric's plan of attack at the happiest place on earth, does not begin with a leisurely stroll down main street and then a go at a happy pace from land to land.....NO, on the contrary! Eric's plan is to be one of the first through the turn style, and at a rather fast (almost jogging - but not quite because the disney police guys are there to say "no running") pace until he hits the velvet rope at the end of main street. There we crowd together will all the other poor schmucks who have been dragged along like this. At the moment the rope drops, we must do our best "not running" imitation to the first ride (usually the most popular one that fills up first so we won't have to wait in a long line later). After that, it's fastpass to fastpass sometimes from one end of the park to the other and back again...whew, I'm exhausted just thinking about it. So a week later, my feet are still aching in the mornings. My Dad gave me a pair of "Healthy Toes" last fall and I was using them regularly, but as the weather got cooler, I'd rather have on some really heavy socks than those....but you know what?? I started using them again, and they're really helping! They look ridiculous, but they feel heavenly! They also help you get a great polish job on your toes! You can get them at Crazy Harry's. Maybe I'll buy some of those socks with the separate toes so I can have the best of both worlds!!
