Paul McKeever presents NEW VIDEO - The Psychology of Green: The Death Cult of Zero Worship posted at Paul McKeever, saying, "This blog entry, and the video to which it refers, are an effort in philosophical detection. The upshot is that the green movement's beliefs are founded on philosophical beliefs that are a rationalization designed to combat painful emotions of guilt, fear, envy etc. Clearly, not every greenie is a person who neglects to think, or who otherwise experiences negative emotions, but the green movement provides non-thinkers with a turn-key operation for self-delusion and for an unwarranted soothing of "bad feelings"."
Burgess Laughlin presents The Cause of History: Ideas or Insults? posted at Making Progress, saying, "In the last few years, I have frequently examined many advocacy websites. One of my purposes was to identify the manner in which the authors made their points. In some weblogs, one element of style stands out: insults to opponents. These writers call their opponents names such as: nutbars, nutjobs, morons, cowards, idiots, goat herders, ragheads, and scum. Why do these writers use insults? What is the philosophy underlying this style of activism?"
Ari Armstrong presents How Obama Lost Another Vote posted at FreeColorado.com, saying, "Obama wants to infringe free speech, expand faith-based welfare, and impose involuntary servitude -- as well as massively expand government control over the economy."
