I used to be very poor at nursery rhyme. When Ian was a newborn, I hardly sang to him, coz I knew very few songs.
I learnt all the nursery rhyme together with Ian.
During the last Fraser’s Hill trip, I took his nursery rhyme CD to play in the car. I picked up all the songs, except one which is quite fast - without the lyrics book I found it hard to follow.
Few days after we came back… we played the CD in the car again, and when the music of each song starts…
Suz: Ian, what’s next? Ian: Water Boiling! (which means Little Teapot)
Suz: Ian, what this? Ian: Incy Wincy Spider!
Suz: Ian, what is this? Ian: HAHAHAHAHA! Mama don’t know one… Suz: **** silent **** Ian: … pie!… pie! HAHAHAHA!
Well, he was laughing at me! Coz, I could only catch the last word ‘pie’! :P When his daddy asked him what’s so funny, he just kept giggling at me, and kept saying ‘pie! pie!’. * blush *
