Ahhh spring in Texas. Gotta love the itchy, watery eyes and the drippy, itchy nose. Well, when my vacuum recently went kaput, I had a few requirements for the new one: lightweight, easy to handle and it had to have a great filtering system to help cut down on some of the dust and allergens floating around. Hubby did a little research and brought home this fabulous space-age green model seen above with my handy little helper. It met my requirements plus it is bagless so I have gotten to see what it picks up and it is disgusting! It has a triple HEPA filtering system so I am in hopes that it will make a difference for us all since North Texas seems to be the Allergy Capitol of the Universe.
I have also been considering anair cleanerof some sort. They run almost silently and would help remove just that much more dust and crud from the air. The site I linked to above is a guide I found that gives information on a variety of different air cleaners and purifiers and gives suggestions on where to find them. It even answers some of the questions you had always had but never knew where to ask. The information is clear and they really are not selling you one particular product. I have seen pictures of the filters in a purifier after they have been used for a while and all I can say is yuck! I'll let you know what I decide but in the meanwhile, if you have interest or questions about air cleaners, check theAir Cleaners/Air Purifiers Guideout and you might just be able to breathe a little easier!
