Time for another weekly installment of Not Me Monday - Click the Not Me button on my side bar to go to MckMama's page and check out the original and fabulous....enjoy....(oh and keep scrolling if you want an update on us)
I did not check, log on to, or even think about my blog while I was on vacation with the boys.
I did not use my zip up sweatshirt as a picnic blanket behind my car in an empty church parking lot on the drive up to Vermont Friday night - of course I remembered to pack the blanket that we always take with us.
I do not think it is hysterical that 90% of us seem to post "Not Me's" about not showering - we are not a dirty bunch - and if we were I would never be a part of that group - not me, I'm not that icky, never!!
I did not drive my children, my husband, and my friends crazy with the hundreds of pictures I took this weekend.
I did not wear the same pair of cordoroys to work several days last week - even though I know that no one would notice since I am somewhere different every day.
I am not currently typing this while Dan and Dan (affectionately known as "the Den") and Angela brew beer in the kitchen - of course I am involved - I am in no way a little "over" the beer brewing process that has become ingrained in our lives
I did not go crazy on the brownie batter bowl once I poured the batter into the pan to cook - I am not that hooked on brownie batter - or chocolate for that matter.
We since I can't just do a "Not Me" post...here are some pics from the Giant Pumpkin Regatta today (Burlington, VT - check out this site). It was a blast - we were all a little disappointed that no one went over, but it was a great time - and hysterical to see grown men (and a woman) paddling gigantic pumpkins like oddly shaped kayaks. Most the pics I think speak for themselves and I am surprisingly not very "chatty" tonight - enjoy the pics - I'll do a really big Vermont post from home tomorrow night once we are home and settled in.
I do have to say I am not thrilled with my camera right now - I pulled out my good 35mm SLR and cleaned it up got film and batteries - the pictures it takes are amazing, but I am so used to the instant gratification that it our digital world, I haven't been able to bring myself to use it this weekend. I think come tax-return time, our one splurge will be a good digital SLR - I am tired of taking these sub-par pictures. We are in the process of getting photoshop and possibly the whole Adobe Creative Suite - in which case I will at least be able to improve my pics significantly even if my camera is still junk....anyway....it is Sunday night - I am a little sleepy, very relaxed, and on my way to visit many of the neglected blogs that I follow.
