I did not threaten my son that if he didn’t stop whining, I would find more medicine for him to take. I did not chuckle inside at the sheer insanity of that threat. I do not apparently have any other discipline options. It was not going to be a Flinstone’s vitamin. It did not work.
I did not wonder why my daughter was refusing to sleep. I visited her room several times after she had fallen asleep, then again awoke crying. The last time I went in her room to quiet her, I did not see my life cell phone sitting on her dresser. It had not gone off…more than once.
As I prepare this late Not Me Monday, I am not watching my daughter wet her hair in the sink of her fake, plastic kitchen which must have some collected water in it. She does not then throw herself head down, legs still standing, onto a clumped towel on the floor in order to ‘dry’ it. I am not thoroughly amused.
Nope. Not Me!
Not Me! Monday is part of a continuing blog carnival. This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.
