Anyone who breastfeeds knows that NIP (nursing in public) is one of the most challenging things a new Mom faces. Well, I am here to tell you that nursing a newborn in public is
nothing...
Here is what happened to me this past weekend. My family took a trip "home" to the town where I grew up. We hiked up to the top of Brasstown Bald mountain and were in a small theater with about 40 other people getting ready to watch a short film about the history of the mountain when I hear my child scream at the top of her lungs, "WANT BOOBIE MAMA, WANT BOOBIES NOW!" And if that wasn't
revealing enough, she also started reaching down into my top to get her "boobies".
So what is a Mom to do when this happens? Why N(a toddler)IP of course!

My husband snapped that pic of me (with way too much flash!) while she was nursing. I was so thankful I had worn my nursing tank that day- it certainly helped me be as discreet as possible considering my little girl was screaming her intentions to everyone in the room! LOL
So the next time you are out and your child needs to nurse, think of me and my little girl in that mountain top theater. If I can do it...you can DO IT!
