Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday mornings I get up at 5:15 to go run at 5:45. Wednesday and Friday mornings I'm up at 5:30 to hit the gym at 6 for some cross training. I am determined to cross the finish line of the half marathon weighing less than when I started.
That was not what happened for the last half:(
When I get home from my workouts I usually grab some coffee or a Slim-Fast, my laptop, and head to the back yard.
We only use our back yard during the summer and only to swim or entertain. Every year when I spend hours upon hours getting it summer ready I promise myself I will spend non-swimming time out there. This year I'm making that happen.
When the Funk's came to spend time around the 4th, Carrie joined me. But only because I forced her, against her will, to get up at the crack of dawn to go workout with me. She (in her own words, is not a morning person. But once I showed her my post workout morning routine, she wasn't as mad at me:c)
