My eyes!

Posted May 07 2009 9:23pm
The sun! Yay! Excellent. So anyway, I'm very pleased to announce that Charlotte is in better spirits, still no new tooth that I can see, but as long as the random screaming is dialed down a bit, I'm happy.

Yesterday, I had an epic morning of getting crap done. I had an 8am dentist appointment that I had completely forgotten about until they called to remind me the night before. What a way to start the day. My teeth are all shined up and I have no cavities. I love my dentist, truth be told, and she reminded me yet again that I need my top two wisdom teeth extracted. I actually took the referrals this time so I may call for an oral surgery consultation soon. MAY being the key word.

After that, I went to city hall to pay the last of the parking tickets, then to my insurance agency, and then to the registry. I really can't even talk about the registry. Why does everyone look strung out and circa 1982 there? I don't know.
Post that, I came home and went HOUSE on my bedroom. There was much purging and reorganizing and getting rid of accumulated crap. I now can open my closet and select something that I actually a. would wear and b. fits. I feel so good about that. In other household news, our sink is totally backed up, the garbage disposal isn't working and the dishwasher leaks. I feel pretty bad about that. Luckily my uncle is coming over early next week to fix things. Until then we are punting.

Last night I went out to dinner with Krista and Karla for our weekly Thursday night outing. If there was ever a night I needed to get out of the house it was yesterday. Krista and I continued on for a drink or two - and I couldn't finish my 2nd drink. What has become of me?

Today, I'm waiting around to see if my dad needs a ride home after dropping off his car for service, and then I'm off to get a pedicure and an eyebrow wax. I never ended up getting that pedicure after all so it's been quite a while and my feet are scary. It's supposed to be in the 60-70s this weekend so I am PRAYING to bust out the sandals.

I'm not sure what's up for the weekend, but I do know that Mr. P ships out to Texas again on Sunday for the majority of next week.

Serenity now.
