Momasphere’s Self-Publushing Moms Series: Interview with Yours Truly

You know, I may not get to everything I’m asked to do in a timely manner, I may not complete something, ever, if it does not put food on the table, but I have a soft spot for fellow parenting authors and the people who care about them.
Momasphere interviewed me as part of their Self-Publishing Moms Series. They asked for a few short answers, just a sentence or two per question. I’ll wait for you to insert your own wisecrack here. As if I could.
Hopefully, with more writers talking about the process we can goose a few more closet writers into putting some of their words together no matter how disorganized and awful they are to start. Everyone hates their own, early writing. My advice is to just spit it out. Then go back and cherry pick. It’s amazing what you find, and like, and even think is great. I had no recollection of what I wrote for this interview…it was late and I was stressed and overdue and exhausted, but it wasn’t half bad. Sometimes that’s when the real stuff surfaces.
Go out and write your stories! They begin at home.
