MeeWee review

Posted Apr 09 2009 7:15pm
My kids LOVE music... especially music that is geared specifically towards them. All three of them get up and dance or sing along any chance they get! So when MomFuse offered me the chance to review MeeWee I was thrilled :)

Here is a bit about MeeWee from their website:

is fun, exciting, and uplifting Hip-Hop music for elementary school age children. Through the years, nearly all Hip-Hop music and culture has been designed for adolescents and adults. These fans now have children who love the lively and energetic songs that they hear; unfortunately, most of the lyrical content isn't quite appropriate. Well, MeeWee solves that! With songs like "I Need A Hug", "Us Bus", and "I Can Be Anything", Hip-Hop fans who are six, seven, and eight years old have cause to celebrate. So do their parents, as they get their children ready to rap and dance to the beats and rhymes of MeeWee.

I've played the album several times for my kids in the past week and they love it. My sons have come up with some fascinating dance moves and Olivia thinks that any song is perfect for a little ballet :) They have even started to try and sing along which just proves they like the music. And just to make it even better the music was enjoyable for me too! Anything that the kids love and that doesn't drive me crazy is PERFECT for our house.

It is important to me that the music my kids listen to fills their heads with GOOD stuff, not crap. I am very impressed with MeeWee. You can download
the lyrics to their songs HERE and you will find music that you will be happy your kids are singing along to and nothing that will embarrass you when they are singing it at school :)
MeeWee also has a great website - You can listen to their music and check out what this very cool company is up to. They even have a section for teachers where they provide lesson plans to go with their songs- brilliant!

Great music from a great company- what could be better?

You can see MeeWee on YouTube too...
