This past week I've been sick...and it's been rough. It never fails, the beginning of the school year always brings in a cold to our house. Usually it starts off with Johnny and I always end up with the worst of it. Since feeling that tickle in my throat, I have been taking preventative measures to make sure I'm not spreading my nasty germs.
That's where Lysol Disinfecting Spray and Wipes have come in. I've sprayed door knobs, toys, my office area and sinks. Not to mention wiped down phones, light switches, the bathrooms. I think it's made a difference too!
This year, the Lysol brand has teamed up with Dr. Laura Jana, a pediatrician, mother of three school aged-children and owner of an educational daycare center. She would like to share her back to school checklist with moms to help them prepare their children for a healthy and happy school year. Her tips include:
Send school germs packing by encouraging your children to drop their book bags, take off their shoes and leave their coats at the door when they walk in.
Send them straight to the sink to wash their hands for at least 20 seconds (long enough to sing Happy Birthday twice!) while you spray their bags with Lysol Disinfectant Spray to help kill bacteria they may have picked up from the school bus, the playground or the classroom.
These wipes are perfect for the classroom as well! With the threat of H1N1 in our schools, staying healthy and killing bacteria, viruses and fungi is my focus. Wipe down those desks and chairs, do the same with the door knobs and light switches.
