Linnea in Monet’s Garden *Giveaway*

Posted Oct 18 2012 12:00am

If there is one book that I remember as a child, it’s Linnea in Monet’s Garden . First published 25 years ago (Oh, how time flies!), Linnea captured my heart with her French adventure.

I’m so excited to share Linnea in Monet’s Garden with my daughter. Paige has an unusual appreciation of art at the age of 5. She has an eye for it and she particularly enjoys the beautiful (and colorful!) impressionists.

She’s quite smitten with the energetic Linnea and the beautiful works of Monet. When we read through this book, she’s quite insistent that we must visit Monet’s garden.  And why not?  This book provides not only the stunning works of Claude Monet, but interesting tidbits about the Monet family.

It’s my hope to get to Paris in the next few years with her. Fingers crossed!

In the 25th anniversary edition, the book includes a family tree and updated things to do and see in Paris.

In order to celebrate this fabulous 25th anniversary, I’m giving away a copy of Linnea in Monet’s Garden to one lucky Seeryus Mama reader! And, to sweeten the pot further, Sourcebooks is hosting a giveaway as well! All of the entries from this blog tour will be pooled together and one lucky person will win a Vera Bradley Tote!  So enter on all sites to better your chance!
