Larry's Old Time Trade Days in Winnie, Texas is one of my absolute favorite flea markets. Not that there was ever a flea market I went to, that I didn't like. But, Larry's Old Time Trade Days is pretty much near the top of my list. There is room for up to 500 vendors. And every vendor stall is usually packed. My feet are usually pretty darned tired when we're done visiting.
With up to 500 vendors, there is a little bit of everything. A little something for everyone. In fact, I found my Jadite glass hen on a nest here. You know me, I love collecting vintage items. So, I wanted to ask the lady running this booth, How much for the whole thing?I'll take every item in your booth. Look at all this bright and colorful vintage Fiesta Ware. Somebody pinch me!

There are rows and rows of open stalls selling every conceivable ware. But, there are also several buildings. And they are literally overflowing with vintage and antique items. I had very serious thoughts of purchasing the white coffee table in the bottom middle of this picture. Very serious. But, I exercised self-control since I don't have a clue where I'd put it. I've been dreaming about it every night since then though. Maybe I need to go back. Even though I still have no idea how I plan to use it. Besides, I think I might need a pink tutu also.

And a flea market just isn't complete without some colorful whirlygigs for the front yard. There's lots of yard ornaments and such for sale at the flea market.

Here's a stall with some definite Texas flair. They sell cowhides. They have rugs in all shapes and sizes. I love the colors in this particular one.

Many of the flea market vendors aslo offer T-shirts, purses and sunglasses. So, of course, Drama Queen had to try on a few pairs.

I'm saving these photos for future blackmail. In a few years, she'll be emberassed that she ever wore a pair of sunglasses so big. And so bright yellow. And that she thought she was so cool while wearing them.

And if you've got giant yellow sunglasses. Well, then you need a giant zebra striped purse to go with it. And you can find plenty of them at Larry's Old Time Trade Days.

I think I'll pass on the sunglasses and purses. I'm going to go check out this booth instead. I think there's something over here that I might like.
