Is there really such a thing as safe pesticides?
According to safer brand.com, "Pesticides have been linked to a myriad of diseases. The Pesticides Literature Review, based on studies conducted by a multi-university research team in Toronto concludes that "people should reduce their exposure to pesticides because of links to serious illnesses. Results of this study found consistent evidence of serious health risks such as cancer, nervous system diseases and reproductive problems in people exposed to pesticides…through home and garden exposure."
With spring just around the corner many people including myself are looking forward to spending more time outdoors and planning spring and summer gardens. During the warmer months our homes can get invaded quickly by ants, roaches, and flying insects. Like many parents I want to get rid of these pests without harming my family's health. Eco Smart organic insecticides target the insects only and do not leave harmful toxic residue. Recently we had an ant problem in our bathroom. After spraying the walls, cracks and counter with the Ant and Roach Killer only once the ants have not returned. The bathroom is not sticky from the treatment nor did it leave a strong odor the way most household insecticides do.
All of the ingredients used in Eco Smart products are either food grade and listed on the FDA GRAS ("Generally Regarded as Safe") list or are commonly used in the food and beverage industry (this means they have no adverse effect on living organisms).
Most Eco Smart products retail for under $10 on their website so they are affordable. They can also be purchased at your local Wal-Mart store.
