I'm inviting all of you, my wonderful readers on a journey. It's going to be a 6 week trek that I have been dreading, yet looking forward to at the same time. Why? Because it's working out, something I don't like do do. I'm slowly changing my mind though, thanks to
KettleWorx.
It. Is. Incredible.
No joke. The kind folks at
KettleWorx sent me the
KettleWorx Ultra 10 series. It starts with the
"Six Week Body Transformation" – an easy, step-by-step program that guides you through six weeks of personal training. 4 DVDs: Intro,
Cardio, Core, Resistance. It also includes:
- A 10-pound kettlebell – KettleWorx Premium Kettlebell
- The Ultimate Body Sculpting Collection – on 4 DVDs
- Fast Abs – 1 DVD
- Fast Fat Burn – 1 DVD
- Fat Free in 42 – a 6 week healthy eating guide (e-Book format)

With 3 different Kettlebells to choose from, I started off on the middle ground with the 10lb. Thank you very much, I'll stay at the 10lb. too!
From the
website:
KettleWorx is the global leader in kettlebell fitness. No other fitness program comes close to matching the 200 exercises, 36 unique workouts and more than 12 hours of personal instruction that KettleWorx provides. But KettleWorx is much more than just the largest collection of kettlebell training ever assembled. KettleWorx is a truly personal training system that guides you, step-by-step, through your own six week body transformation. Unlike fitness programs that provide only a few routines to repeat over and over, the 36 unique routines included with KettleWorx are never boring - always challenging. KettleWorx really is just like having your ownpersonal trainer - one who guides and instructs as you build strength, confidence and endurance each week. I'll admit, that first week, it kicked my butt.
Big time. My legs felt like jello and muscles I had forgotten that I had screamed at me. I'm following the program closely. I work out every other day and it's getting easier! I'm still huffing and puffing, but I'm not as sore as I use to be. I've done the Intro,
Cardio and Core workouts. It's the
Cardio that I'm not looking forward to ever seeing again, but I know I will! It's 20 minutes of hell. Seriously, oddly enough, I felt
wonderful once it was over. It can only get easier from here on out. I have found the DVD to go fast. It was going from exercize to exercize in what seemed like lightning speed. However, I think it's just going to take time to get used to it. We'll see if I still think that in the upcoming weeks.
Why now? I've joined the Biggest Loser with my Mommies Group. From August 1st to October 1st. I want to see how I can improve, because I'm not in shape. I have a long way to go...but I'm okay with it. My goal, to be looking good by
BlogHer 2010 in New York City.
Stay tuned, I'll update you next week.
