Picker Sisters -- interior designers Tracy Hutson and Tanya McQueen. They’re big believers in the old adage that “one person’s trash is another person’s treasure,” and they teach people how to repurpose old or broken items in new ways to make them beautiful or useful again.In addition, Glad Black Bag has teamed up with mosaic artist Jason Mecier to create four works of art made entirely out of people’s trash! These items have been collected during Great American Cleanup events across the country, as well as donated by celebrities like Jesse Eisenberg, Raphael Sbarge, and Nathan Kress. And here’s something really cool: They’re actually auctioning off these works of art on eBay to raise money for the Of course, before anything goes into a trash bag in our house, we check to see if a particular item can be recycled. All of our newspapers and magazines, as well as plastic and glass items, go into the appropriate bin to be taken to our local recycling center.
