I’ve had a number of people ask me how I make my jelly shots so I thought it would be easier just post it here to share.
Before Aeroplane jelly brought out their Create-a-jelly, we were a bit limited in the jelly shots that we could make. I’ve mixed orange jelly with vodka, the cola jelly with scotch or bacardi and the lime with midori.
But now with the create-a-jelly, you can mix whatever flavour you like!
When I make the jelly shots, I use:
2 packets of Aeroplane Create-a-Jelly
650ml alcohol
250ml boiling water
To make:
Dissolve the 2 packets of jelly crystals with 250ml boiling water.
Add 650ml of alcohol (for these ones I use Butterscotch Schnapps)
Pour into plastic shot cups and stick in the fridge until set.
If you can, use plastic shot cups that are soft and you can squeeze the jelly out. The ones I used here were rigid so I added the Aussie flag picks to help get it out.
