Last summer I was literally freaking out with anxiety about my kids BOTH being home for the summer. I was sure it was the last straw to me losing my mind for reals. So, I may have signed up for a few too many VBS’s to keep them busy. Which really just meant I was driving quite a lot. This summer, I’m a little more stable (just a little) and I think that I’m going to attempt to be better balanced about things. I did sign them up for a couple of camps, but mostly I just want to spend time together sleeping in and not fighting. Cause that can happen…. what i'm wearing...sunnies: Forever 21 top: Goodwill ~~~~~~~ Should children be allowed to dye their hair, and if so, at what age? I believe the key to making it through parenthood is picking your battles. My greatest goals in raising my kids are to make sure they first Love God, then Love Others, and lastly…make sure they know that drugs, alcohol, and dating leads to mental problems down the road…so they might as well just stay clear. Other than those three things, the other stuff is minor, including dying their hair. My only issue is that I’ve heard, (you know from people who dye their hair. I don’t. I’m a “natural” blonde.), that coloring hair can get a bit pricey. So they just need to know that mama isn’t a bank and they have to do my chores to pay for that expensive habit. A clean house for dyed hair isn’t too much to ask. what i'm wearing....sweatshirt: TJ Maxx ~~~~~~~ How do your kids help each other out? Taylor has this whole “siblings should help each other out” down to a science. Seriously. And he has it all worked out so that it only works well for him. When he needs something, or wants something done, somehow he has trained Chloe to get quite excited about “helping” him out. So, for this video, I’m going to allow him to explain their “helping” situation for all of you.
