Randy finally discovered that I had changed his face book profile picture to his Ducky Dynasty “Jase look alike” picture. I was in the kitchen getting dinner going and I hear, “What?!! You really did it? You hacked my account and changed my profile picture?!!!” And then he started laughing out loud. So it was all fun and games. And the fact that it’s still up there reassures that he’s just fine with it and kind of liked the grizzly look he pulled off for a few minutes.
So this is sort of hard to say but things are changing around Life is a Bowl of Wedgies. I’ve felt for a while that this space has served it’s purpose. We’ve had some great conversations here and the Lord has opened up some precious friendships through this blog. And I am so thankful for that. I’ve learned and grown as a result of this blog and my prayer has been that God would use it to encourage others as well. And I think he has. I’m grateful for that. As our children grow older I feel the need to back off such personal stories that include our family for privacy sake. While it has been a joy to share personal pieces of our lives I have been feeling a stirring within that the time has come to shift the focus. I’m not totally sure what that looks like yet but I feel sure the Lord will make that clear to me in time. My love for writing is still there and I feel sure I’ll be back at it at some point but for now I’m just looking back on this three year season of blogging in this space and counting it as a wonderful time. A fun time! I loved it and I look forward to what is next. Thank you for reading and being a part of this little place.
