It's in the Bag with Ogio - B2S - Review

When it comes down to it, backpacks are always the major purchase when it comes to back to school shopping. I've always tried to let Johnny choose his own. He's the one who has to use it all year, right? In Kindergarten it was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, first grade was a Cars backpack from the Disney store, second grade was a sling style backpack and last year he had a Lands' End backpack.

This year we were given the chance to try out an OGIO backpack. So, once again, I let him pick. He chose the Urboe in Bruno Plaid. It's different...and needless to say, he'll probably be the only one with this kind of backpack! That said...it fits his personality.

The Urboe is more of a laptop bag. It features Side entry padded laptop compartment with high impact foam protection, a large center storage area, side panel power cord and mouse storage and a weatherproof fleece lined valuables pocket. Then it has the dual front organizer pockets. He wanted it for all of the different compartments. The only thing it doesn't have is an audio pocket, that's okay though. I'm sure there is a pocket for that in his coat.

The backpack alone weights 2.2 lbs and has 2200 cubic inches of space. It will do some hauling!

OGIO has a great selection of Streetpacks, in case you aren't wild about the Urboe. They also have Messenger bags, Duffel's, Travel Bags and even a section for us girls. I'm all over that Hobo bag. How cute is that? The range that OGIO carries is pretty amazing. Golf, anyone?

While are on the pricey side, I'm pretty confident that this bag will last all year and maybe next. It's sturdy and feels like it will stand up to the abuse a fourth grader will put it through.
