Today is EMYYL’s daughter’s full moon party. We were so honored that she has invited us to the luncheon as usual, just like for the other children. Unfortunately we had to fly kite this time due to other things came up.
At home, when DH and I talked about this FFK, Isabel overheard, and she told me she likes babies…
“Mama, I like babies, really really like babies. But I like baby girls more than baby boys. Baby girls are very good…”
Haha, ya she really adores babies. She would take care if other young children, pampering them, play with them, and honestly she can be really good with kids.
The other day MIL just took advantage of this. We were there for dinner, and after dinner while watching tv, suddenly Isabel came to me and begged me to get a new baby FOR HER! I just laughed and said not possible lah, why don’t she just play with the other kids in the house bla bla bla… Then she CRIED! She insisted that I could get her a new BABY ‘TOY’ for her to play with.
Then it got out of control, and she threw a tantrum, saying that I COULD get a baby FOR HER if I want to.
Then I smelled something fishy. I asked her, who asked her to talk to me like this? Who told her about all these…
There she leaked it. “popoh said you can give me a baby to play with! It must be true, you can!”
Ahahaha! There you go!
So that night I had a little girl with shattered heart, coz mommy refused to produce a baby girl for her to play with. Hahahaha!
You know what? At the end I asked her to get her own baby when she gets married in the future. Hahahaha!
