Is hemorrhoids caused by pregnancy a temporary problem?

Is hemorrhoids caused by pregnancy a temporary problem? Well, I certainly hope so. My problems seem to have eased off for now but I'm not sure if it will make a come back later on. I guess that my diet has improved a lot as well. These days I do make an effort to exercise more, eat more fruits and vegetables and drink lots of fluids. I don't think I take more fiber overall but I do try to eat better and I try not to strain as well. Perhaps that helps because hemorrhoids is such a pain I don't want it to ever come back.
I know that hemorrhoids are more common during pregnancy but I didn't know that a sedentary lifestyle and excessive consumption of alchohol or caffeine can both cause hemorrhoids. Anyway these substances are not good for overall health so I have omitted both from my diet for a few years now and I am trying to work towards getting more exercises, at least 3-4 times a week for at least 20 minutes each time.
