I have told you several times about my horrible dry feet and about my daughter P3 and her dry little Asian skin so when I had the chance to participate in trial of Vaseline's newest product, Clinical Therapy, well, I could not pass it up. Clinical Therapy is a prescription-strength lotion that is available without a prescription.
It started in Kodiak; one of Alaska's many small towns, with a population of 6,000. Due to the location, Kodiak endures an extremely icy climate leaving many of its residents with dull, dry and cracking skin. This very reason is why Vaseline thought the demographic would be perfect to demonstrate the effectiveness of Clinical Therapy Lotion.
Vaseline turned to Petal Ruch, a voice coach and 50-year-old mother of four, who tried the product and felt it really worked, to start a word-of-mouth campaign for new Vaseline Clinical Therapy Lotion. If she liked it, she could then freely "prescribe" it to anyone else she thought needed it. Through word-of-mouth, her experience spread to more than 600 townspeople—including 39 cousins, a Russian music group, a knife maker, police detective, owners of fishing vessels, and many others-- whom also discovered that Clinical Therapy works. It really was a pretty cool situation.

The Vaseline brand introduced Clinical Therapy because it knows that skin is amazing. Healthy skin naturally repairs itself but when skin is not healthy it can’t perform optimally. About 45% of people are concerned about or actively tackling chronic dry skin with symptoms including redness, tightness, cracks, scales, flakes and soreness, skin’s way of signaling proper functioning has broken down. New Clinical Therapy Lotion helps make skin amazing again by providing instant relief, long lasting protection and sustained recovery to dry skin.
I LOVE it. P3 LOVES it. Best of all, our skin LOVES it. I kid you not. For me, that tight look and feel that I get on my hands is gone and my heels are actually coming around. And on P3, well, the difference is nothing short of amazing. She has stopped scratching herself raw from having itchy, dry skin. Her little cheeks are not red and chapped looking and are instead soft and smooth. Of course, I now joke that she has become a lotion addict because she does not let a chance go by to have more of this wonderful Clinical Therapy Lotion smoothed on her. That is okay though, I will take that over my baby having such awful, itchy skin any day!
The lotion goes on easily and leaves you with no greasy feeling and it comes in both unfragranced and lightly fragranced formulas. We tried the unfragranced version and I really think even my husband won't be able to object to the Clinical Therapy Lotion even though he really despises lotions and potions as I call them. Both versions are also hypoallergenic and, as I said earlier, the products are easy to find. Vaseline Clinical Therapy prescription-strength lotion is available over the counter at supermarkets, drugstores and mass merchandisers nationwide.
