I know, I know AND it's holiday card tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiime!

Posted Nov 22 2009 10:01pm
Okay, so, obviously NaBloPoMo got shot to sh!t. I got busy, we hosted a party, Mr. P got hit by a car.

No, seriously.

He's FINE. Long story short, Mr. P takes a walk at lunch time every day. A few Fridays ago, he was out for his daily perambulation. He was in a crosswalk and got his foot run over by a truck that FLED. Now, Mr. P works in a VERY BUSY area, particularly at lunch time. Long story long, a crowd converged, called the PD and the fellow was, shall we say, DETAINED.

So anyway, he was and is fine, our party went fabulously and then the rest of the month has been busy, busy, busy. Just like everyone else in the world, I suppose.

But! The real reason I have for posting is the hosting of my 5th (wow, FIFTH!) annual Ladybugs Picnic Holiday Card Swap. Here's the best thing about my card swap - it's EASY.

It's just CARDS. No pressure, no partners, just an exchanging of addresses and voila - you get a card from me, I get a card from you. I don't know about you, but I think it's super fun to swap cards with my blog chums. Here's how it works:

1. Leave me a comment with your name/address and email address so I can email you back. I moderate all comments so your info is safe with me. Obviously I won't publish that comment. If you don't want to comment, email me at ladybugs12 AT gmail DOT com. Either way is fine with me, and I'll send my info back to you. Then we'll send each other a card.

Disclaimer: I'm not going to say that you HAVE to have a blog for us to trade addresses and thus cards, because some of my longtime commenters/followers don't blog. But, you have to have come out of the woodwork at some point in time OR have a twitter/facebook page so I know who you are. I'm sure you'll understand that I'm a bit loathe to exchange info to a complete stranger, yes? Yes.

So get to commenting/emailing and let's trade cards. It's THAT TIME OF YEAR!
