i am 5 weeks pregnant can i be lifting my 32 lb 2 yr old son?

My son is 2 1/2 and i still carry him to car or hold him, is it ok for me to be lifting him up? i don't want to do anything to harm this new baby on the way but also don't want to neglect my 2 yr old and stop all of a sudden my routine of things!
