Hot for the Holidays: Yogi Bear Is Now in a Video Game for Nintendo DS and Wii!

Posted Dec 13 2010 10:21pm
We were at the movie theater this weekend watching Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and they showed a preview of the upcoming Yogi Bear movie. It stars Dan Ackroyd as Yogi and Justin Timberlake as Boo Boo, and my boys got all excited to see the movie when it comes out. So, I know they’ll be even more excited to find that  Yogi Bear: The Video Game will be among their Christmas gifts this year!

Based on the upcoming film, players can become Yogi Bear and help save Jellystone Park. As Yogi, they’ll be able to zip-line, do belly slides and grab “pic-a-nic” baskets! They’ll also meet up with an assortment of wild animals in interesting places like Lookout Mountain and Wilderness Trail. But, of course, just like in the classic cartoon, they’ll have to make sure that Ranger Smith doesn’t spoil all of the fun! And Yogi’s adventures wouldn’t be complete without his little buddy, Boo Boo, along for the ride.

The movie won’t be out until December 17th, but you can get  Yogi Bear: The Video Game for Wii and Nintendo DS now! This would make a fantastic gift for the video game player or cartoon lover in your family. And I like that it’s rated “E” for everyone. If you’re “smarter than the average bear,” you’ll add Yogi Bear: The Video Game to your family’s video game collection.
