Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, Erin.
Seriously, you guys. I just cannot stop. It's been almost a week and I'm down to a much more respectable shade of not-so-dark tan. So, because I'm a sucker and easily addicted, I looked at myself in the mirror and said self, you need to re-tan. I had picked up some of those TanTowels at Sephora last week but have not tried them yet, because, well, it's still April and no I have not been on vacation (but thanks for asking, co-worker who saw me YESTERDAY and KNOWS I have not been on vacation. Anyway.)
So, after work, I ran over to Old Navy to pick up another pair of cargo pants. As an aside, I can basically wear whatever I want to work - excluding jeans. For every day I wear a dress and heels, there is a day I wear cargo pants, a cashmere turtleneck or v-neck, my jean jacket, and a headband. Since starting work, I've lost a bit of weight so I needed some new pants. At this point in time, Old Navy has a TON of cheap cargo pants and cargo capris, which I basically live in. I'm all about the Old Navy for cheap one-season clothes. I used to buy cheap one-season work clothes at Ann Taylor Loft but lately they've gotten sort of weirdly trying hard to be trendy, and I haven't shopped there in years. Anyway, right next to the Old Navy, there's a Bath & Body Works, so I popped in and lo and behold, there was an entire TABLE full of sunless tanning products.
I ended up walking out with some gradual self-tanning apres-shower lotion that also has SPF 15. I also picked up a shimmery-gold spray oil that I think will look fab this summer with a skirt.
It is safe to say that in my bathroom, there is no less than 7 sunless tanning products. I am determined to look tan and fabulous this summer since basically last summer I was a post-partum mess.
Okay. I have to run, but I'll be back with more later.
