Heather Manley's New Book, Battle With the Bugs, Teaches Kids About Their Immune System

Dr. Heather Manley recently released the second book to her Human Body Detectives series, "Battle With the Bugs." The audio CD and workbook follows Merrin and Pearl and their cousin Sam as they travel into their baby cousin, Max's nose mouth and ear. Max isn't feeling very good so the girls explore his immune system to find out the problem.
The Human Body Detectives series is a fun and entertaining way for school aged children to learn about their bodies. My kids liked this story just as much as the first and we are looking forward to learning more about our bodies with Merrin and Pearl. Her first book, The Lucky Escape has won a silver medal in family friendly products from the Mom's Choice Awards. The Mom’s Choice Awards® (MCA) is an awards program that recognizes authors, inventors, companies, parents and others for their efforts in creating quality family-friendly media, products and services. The Mom’s Choice Awards® seal helps families and educators navigate the vast array of products and services and make informed decisions.
