Health Buzz: Soothing Vapors Plug-In Waterless Vaporizer & Nightlight
Posted Nov 18 2008 4:31am
Yesterday I gushed about my Vicks Vaporizer, but the manufacturer (Kaz) came out with an even more compact version that does the same thing! This new Vicks Soothing Vapors Plug-In ( V1700 Vicks Soothing Vapors Plug-in Waterless Vaporizer ) has the same benefits as yesterday's model - but with some improvements:
MORE Compact - 2.5 x 2.5 inches
Comes with 5 Menthol pads
Easy to clean
The big difference from yesterday's model is that it is smaller and plugs directly into the wall. To use this Vicks plug-in is easy! First, open a new scent pad pouch. Then insert pad into top slot of the Soothing Vapors Plug-In Waterless Vaporizer. Finally, plug the plug-in directly into an outlet and enjoy EIGHT HOURS of relief.
To reuse the plug-in, simply unplug the Soothing Vapors Plug-In, shake out the old Menthol pad, wipe any residue and insert a new pad. Kaz suggests only using Vicks refills, which are available at almost any pharmacy or a Target/Walgreens/CVS. Refills cost between 4 - 5 dollars and the ingredients of the Vicks scent pad are Menthol, Eucalyptus Oil, Cedarleaf Oil (Myristica Oil), Nutmeg Oil and Thymol.
Both Vicks Waterless Vaporizers create an atmosphere that is so much easier to breathe in. And the nightlight is nice, so I can easily check on the kids. It's a soft glow. I love that you don't need any water, like you would with a humidifier. I am so clumsy, I would just spill it. All you need to do here is insert one small Menthol pad! The Plug-In Vaporizer does get warm, so be sure to keep it out of reach of little ones. And once it is daytime I would definitely unplug it and remove it from both Keegan and Lochlan's curious reach! I don't want them to get shocked or accidentally place the pad into their mouths.
Remember - breathing is good! I highly suggest the Soothing Vapors Plug-In Waterless Vaporizer by Vicks.
