Sleeping!!!  I pretty much hate Black Friday.  I understand the fun bonding with moms and sisters, but for me, it is too early, too cold, and there are too many people!  Oh, and did I mention that I am done Christmas shopping, so I don't really even need a Black Friday?  I take advantage of sales, especially Target's 75% off sales, during the year so I usually have a bunch of gifts on hand.  Then, I ask my girls what they want from Santa and those are the gifts I shop for.

Today was a great day for me for getting the one gift the Bear wanted the most from Santa - the collection of 7 princess dolls from Target which retails for $54.99.  I bought this a week ago at $54.99 because I didn't want to take the chance that Santa could make the one thing she wanted (she's asked for 2 years now).  Shortly after I bought this, my training partner made me aware that it will be on sale at Target on Black Friday for $39.99.  Great, but I don't usually do Black Friday.  She was kind enough to tell me she'd pick it up for me because she'll be one of the crazy people shopping.  Great, I'll dream about you shopping for me, thanks:)  This deal gets even better!  In my research last night, I found out I could use the 50% off coupon from the Target ad on the princess set.  Turns out, I went Target today and got the same set for $27.99 (even though you can get a smokin deal on Black Friday for $39.99- she says with a sarcastic tone).  That is why I don't like Black Friday.  You can get better deals if you look (or have a friend like me who calls you while you're scrubbed in on a surgery to tell you to go to Target).
