nana and I took gabby and maeci to the pumpkin patch yesterday and had a great time.
first we hit up the pony rides. maeci is an old pro but we were shocked at how fearless gabby was.
then we headed to the petting zoo where the girls checked out the goats, rabbits, pigs, chickens, turkeys and donkies.
this is gabby requesting the camera...
and these are her shots...
next we got in the not so short line for the hayride to the pumpkin patch...nana fell trap to the impulse balloon stand conveniently located next to the line and took the girls to get balloons...
i think they liked them...
now on with they hayride...big momma was worried they were going to have to roll her off the wagon but she made it...
the search for the perfect pumpkins begins...
and after mommy successfully made all big pumpkins seem not right...we have a winner!
all further energy had to be invested on making it back to the hayride, carrying the pumpkins on and off the hayride, standing in line to weigh and pay for the pumpkins and taking them to the car - therefore no further photojournalism took place. after paying for the pumpkins, nana eyed a wheel barrow that we soon hijacked to trek the rest of the way to the car. we had every intention of returning said barrow, however we felt justified in leaving it near the mulch pile and leaving 2 free tickets for the lucky finder inside!
moral of the story is - never go to the pumpkin patch without daddy!
