Fit Tip #6 - A Rest Day is OK

It's just another "Manic Monday" as I write this, and I'm feeling the need to catch up, to shake the cobwebs off my body from yesterday and make up for lost time. But once again I remember how God himself rested on the seventh day. If God needed a break to sit back and breathe in the creation, how much more do I need a day off? If every day is a day off, then laziness becomes the status quo. Daily activity, however, merits a rest. Pampering isn't special when it's a regular occurence, but a little pampering after a week of strenuous labor or working out is downright Biblical! Our muscles and our minds need rest in order to re-build. Stimulate and then rejuvenate: That is the beautiful cycle of work and rest initiated by the Creator!
