Apps for Healthy Kids competition - calling all software developers, game designers, students, and other innovators to develop fun and engaging software tools and games that will encourage and drive children to be active, eat better, and follow a more healthy lifestyle. Submission ends June 30, 2010.
Childhood Obesity Task Force , an interagency combining federal, state and local governments in conjunction with private and nonprofit institutions to develop an action plan to come together to help children live healthier lives. It calls for anyone interested in having their voice heard to answer a series of 16 questions that will provide this committee with much-needed insight into this very important health issue.
