The guys over at Dad-Blogs have started a weekly meme called Fatherhood Fridays and today kicks-off the event.

I’ve never participated in an ongoing meme but I have been looking for some sort of weekly series so my readers have something to look forward to and since I don’t post over the weekend, it will be a great way to end the week.

From what I gather, the whole idea of a meme is to increase readership checking out the entries from other participants as well as increase blog visibility and search engine ranking due to the back link to your site.

I don’t think there is any one particular topic that has to be covered, other than something pertaining to fatherhood. It could be some sort of photograph, video, written topic, a link post, etc…It’s open to interpretation and hopefully it will be a way for dads to find and share inspiration on this great journey called fatherhood.

I haven’t quite figured out what I’m going to do on a weekly basis but in the mean time I’ll leave you with a video of my daughter riding her princess bike. We had some nice weather come through a couple of weeks ago and she was ready to get out and ride.
