Here are three exciting events we’re looking forward to next week:

National Drug IQ Challenge
Think you know a lot about drugs and alcohol? You may be surprised.  Beginning on Monday November 8th, test your drug IQ with the National Drug IQ Challenge : A 20-question multiple choice quiz to test your science based knowledge about drugs. High scorers will be rewarded 5 additional “Brainiac” questions that focus on the brain.

Drug Facts Chat Day
Chat with drug and alcohol experts on Tuesday November 9th at the annual Drug Facts Chat Day from 8 am to 6 pm EST. NIDA scientists will chat with thousands of teens who have questions about drugs. Students will need a single access code to log-in and ask questions during the chat ask your teen’s school if they’re registered. If you or your teen can’t attend, chat transcripts will be available online, which you can read together at home.

CyberShoutout
Web-savvy? A simple way to help shatter the myths about drug abuse is tweeting, blogging of Facebook-ing any or all of the suggested language provided on their website . For example, change your Facebook status next week to: “@_____ @_____ @_____ @_____ you’ve been tagged! Spread the word about National Drug Facts Week and tag 5 other friends to help spread the word→ http://bit.ly/9rUsL8.”
