It's been well-established around here that Charlotte loves the hell out of Sesame Street. In fact, it's all she watched up until recently when she developed a deep devotion to Curious George and Clifford the Big Red Dog.
"Recently" meaning the past 8 weeks since I've been home post complicated c-section and have had the TV on basically...round the clock.
But anyway, all that TV means watching a LOT of Sesame Street. To the point where Mr. P and I find ourselves with favorite episodes. And favorite vignettes within said episodes. Our most recent favorite is the American Fruit Stand episode (it rules) but by far, BY FAR, our new favorite song is this jacked up 2007 version of "Rubber Ducky" - it has a reggae sound and holy shit it's the most mental thing I've seen in a long time.
And go ahead and watch it but don't come bitching to me when the song gets stuck in your head and you find yourself driving along singing it to yourself. Or while you're showering. Or while you're cooking dinner. Or while you're changing the baby. And by YOU'RE I obviously mean "I'M."
Do the duck, rubber duck, duck rubber duck, rubber duck, rubber duck...
