Death, Destruction, Apocalypse Arrive this Weekend

It appears my liberal ways and atheist lifestyle have set the wheels in motion for the arrival of judgment day this weekend — at least in central and eastern Texas. Sorry, y’all. I really thought the end of days was a big hoax.
Actually, Hurricane Ike is on track to make landfall somewhere on the central or northern Gulf Coast of Texas this weekend. The media, as usual, are making a big hype out of things. Some family members will be, too. My grandmother will most certainly be calling sometime in the next few days to make sure we’re doing OK, and I’ll assure her that we are.
We’ll be inside this weekend, not to be safe from the rain and wind, but to avoid extra crowds and traffice caused by the evacuees from the coast!
