If you are just joining the Challenge, check last week's post to get up to speed. Also - I forgot to properly credit LeLove with the picture I'm using for my Date Your Mate button last week. If you haven't visited LeLove before...go check it out! Especially for Valentine's Day. This blog makes me happy!
In honor of this being Valentine's weekend, I thought I would turn up the heat - and the fear factor - in this week's challenge. This post will probably fall under TMI in my Mother's book (So Mom, if you're reading, feel free to take a hiatus till manana!)
In Border's a few weeks ago, picking up my new book club book, I came across their Valentine's display and took a few minutes to browse. One in particular caught my eye. " 101 Places To Have Sex Before You Die." REALLY? OneHUNDREDand one?! That's quite a few. I couldn't resist thumbing through.
The book was enlightening to say the least. I was pleased to find, Matt and I could check a few off the list. And a few more made me think, "that could be fun!" But others were super corny. #67 - On a Horse and #85 - On a Roller Coaster, just aren't for me - no matter how long I live! But they did give me an idea.
Instead of the book, I bought this little red leather bound journal instead and decided to obsess on our sex life a little bit. When was the last time that happened? Um....yeah, can't remember.
Date Your Mate Challenge Week 2 - Create a Sex Diary
My "challenge" this week is to fill the first few pages of the journal with "places" of our own...usual and unusual spots we've done the deed. Mind you the past five years - since baby made 3, 4, 5 - haven't been too adventurous. But we've been known to have our share of fun. No - we don't have 101. But remembering some of the spots brought a smile to my face! My plan is to give it to him for Valentine's Day - with the promise of adding a new page to the book sometime this week! Then, every Valentine's Day, we'll update the book. If our new locations aren't numerous or exciting enough, we'll challenge ourselves to do better next year.
What do you think? Are you up for the Challenge?
If you're brave (and adventurous) enough...add your name below and then leave a comment. I know you can do it!
