Crest & Oral-B Pro-Health *review*

Posted Jun 02 2010 2:07pm
A couple months ago I was sent some products from Crest & Oral-B Pro-Health  to try out. I have been using them daily for several weeks now and thought I'd let you know what they are like. I was not required to write this review.

I was sent several different products to try and here is some information about them that I took off their websites

For a deeper, more thorough clean.*
The Oral-B Vitality Precision Clean rechargeable electric toothbrush reduces up to 2x more plaque,* which can cause gingivitis. It uses Advanced Cleaning Technology to surround each tooth and removes plaque for a clean feeling and healthy gums. Superior stain removal versus a regular manual brush means teeth are naturally whitened.

Extra soft to help protect sensitive gums.
Oral-B Sensitive Advantage is an extra soft brush for sensitive teeth and gums. With gentle ComfortClean™ bristles and an ergonomically designed handle, Oral-B Sensitive Advantage cleans gently and comfortably.

  • Ensures gentle brushing

  • Provides a thorough cleaning

The leading sensitivity toothpaste could be missing important oral health protection. Crest Pro-Health Sensitive Shield Toothpaste guards against sensitivity and protects your entire mouth. Its clinically proven active ingredient protects against sensitivity, cavities, gingivitis, and plaque.

Crest Pro-Health is the first and only leading toothpaste that protects against sensitivity and all these other areas dentists check most
• Fights teeth cavities
• Fights tartar buildup
•  Whitens teeth
•  Freshens breath
• Fights teeth sensitivity
• Fights plaque
• Fights gingivitis

Crest Glide Pro-Health Floss for Sensitive Gums is 2x softer than original Crest Glide Floss, but still glides easily to remove plaque. This shred resistant floss is gentle on gums while still providing effective cleaning between teeth.

What did I think?

I used the toothpaste for one full month and then I switched back to regular toothpaste and I must admit I noticed a huge difference. I was surprised because I really didn't think I would! When I was using Crest Pro-Health Sensitive Shield toothpaste my teeth were noticeably less sensitive to cold things like ice cream or ice water.

The toothpaste was smooth mint flavour which I think might be my new favourite flavour- it was light without compromising that "minty-fresh" mouth feeling. I'm not sure how to describe it exactly but this toothpaste sort of feels like it bubbles up a bit when you brush with it- it is different than regular toothpaste and I really liked it.

The Crest Glide Pro-Health for sensitive gums smooth mint floss is great. It is the least obnoxious feeling floss I have found yet! It was a little harder to hang on to though- you know how you wrap the floss around your fingers? It kept slipping because it is so satiny so that meant I had to use a little bit more just to get a better grip. Other than that it was great.

The Oral-B Sensitive Advantage toothbrush was almost a little soft for me. It didn't always feel like I was actually getting my teeth really clean. I will say I loved the pink colour though :).

And finally the Oral-B Vitality Precision Clean rechargeable electric toothbrush . I love this product. It totally made my teeth get that "fresh from the dentist" clean feeling. It is really easy to use and to recharge. Everyone in my family was jealous that I had one and they didn't :).

If you have sensitive teeth than you should definitely give these products a try!

Thanks so much to Crest  and Oral-B for sending me these products.
