Students have been using CliffsNotes books for more than 50 years to learn more about some of literature’s great works. Now CliffsNotes are branching out into the world of video! I love their humorous animated features of Shakespeare’s classics: Romeo and Juliet, Julius Caesar, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Othello, Hamlet, and Macbeth. If you’ve always thought that Shakespeare was a little complicated, you’ll think again when you see these entertaining short films online. In each film, you’ll also meet Cliff Notesworth, an everyday superhero who can condense large amounts of information into easily digestible nuggets that won’t blow your mind. Students can also earn CliffsNotes points and badges, join contests, and discuss these fun shorts with others. Check out this video preview of the series
