Choosing stair gates that meet the needs of safety for a child or pet.

One of the first things a parent should for look when purchasing stair gates is that they are JPMA certified. This is not the only requirement as they should also be quality safety gates too. There have been stair gates recalled that were JPMA certified but still failed.
If the parent has a top of stair gate that needs to be mounted at an angle so they can secure it to a stud then they should look at angle mounted stair gates.
If they are concerned about wood posts for their stair gates and they want something something that looks a little nicer on their stairs but is still secure they could search for wood stair gates.
