Yes, Ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory and flexeril is a muscle relaxer. You should not take more than 2400 mg of ibuprofen in twenty four hours. Ibuprofen should be taken in divided doses. For example, 400mg every 6 hours or 800mg every 8 hours. Over the counter Ibuprofen usually comes in 200 mg tablets. Make sure you read the doseage information carefully.
